In-person meetings will begin Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Schoolhouse Puppets is entirely volunteer-run and funded by donations. Joining is free, and our meetings are open to the public.

We meet almost every Thursday evening (unless it’s a major holiday or the weather is bad) at the Walnut Community Center in central Madison County. (Thank you, WCC, for your generous support! )

First-time and occasional visitors are welcome to drop in between 6:00 and 7:30 pm. We are usually in the middle of building puppets, preparing for an event, or learning a new skill together.

Members meet from 5:30-8ish each week. Showing up regularly makes you a member, too.
